How To Install WordPress in Subdomain on Bluehost?

Follow the instructions below, step by step, for creating a subdomain website on your current domain using Bluehost cPanel.

Step 1: Login to your cPanel account and click on the Install WordPress inside the Website section.

Step 2: Next, click on the Get Started button. It will load WordPress Installer.

Step 3: In WordPress Installer, you will get a section like a screenshot below.

  1. Domain: Name your subdomain and choose the domain name.
  2. Directory: leave it empty.
  3. Helpful Plugins: Include any if you need; otherwise, uncheck all. 

Step 4: Fill up your account details like Site TitleUsernameEmail Address, Password, and click on the Next button.

Note: Don’t forget to add a strong password with a combination of numbers, letters, and special characters.

Step 5: In a few moments, WordPress will be installed in the desired folder, and you will see the screenshot below.

Congratulations, you have installed WordPress on Bluehost subdomain successfully. Now, you can access your website:

  • URL visiting blog.yourdomain.com
  • Admin Area visiting blog.yourdomain.com/wp-admin
